Bicycling Magazine Honors Ann Arbor

Bicycling magazine honors Ann Arbor: "Detroit may be the Motor City, but its close cousin, Ann Arbor, is Bike Town.
The university city is one of 20 cities in the nation that have been named Bike Towns by the editors of Bicycling magazine.
And there's a prize in the designation for Ann Arborites.
Fifty residents will be selected to receive free Schwinn bicycles, based on essays of 50 words or less about what they would do with a free bike.
In addition to Schwinn bicycles, all 2005 Bike Town participants in Ann Arbor will receive Kryptonite bike locks, Bell helmets, CatEye headlights, rear flashers, cycle computers (to track speed and mileage) and other bicycling gear."
